Oh were these ever fun to paint! I found these little triangle canvases at a store’s going out of business sale and knew I’d use them for something eventually. That time came when I had committed to being in Las Vegas for several months: June, July and AUGUST! Between the intense dry heat and living in a very kitschy, creative historical downtown community, I had a fun journey into a series of iconic childhood foodstuffs with a grownup, jaded twist.
